New Resident Housing Application Process1 Apply and be admitted to COCC
Select your student type and follow the steps to get started at COCC. Have questions? Don't hesitate to contact Admissions at 541-383-7500 or email email@example.com. Once you are admitted you will receive instructions on how to access your COCC email, which is where Housing and Residence Life will send all communication.2 Submit your New Resident Housing Application and sign your Housing and Dining Agreement (included in the application)
Please allow up to 10 business days for your housing application to be processed.
Follow these steps:
- Access the MyHousing Portal
- Choose the Resident image
- Log in using your COCC email address and password
- Look for the Applications section on the portal home page
- Click the blue Get Started button to fill out all of the forms
- Review and Submit your application
- If you do not see a housing application, contact the Housing and Residence Life Office at 541-383-7545.
About the Application
We will ask for information about you including emergency contact information, meal and roommate preferences as well as review some basic contract information.3 Pay your $100 application fee
Payments are made through your Bobcat Web Account. Once your payment has been processed, we will initiate a background check within 10 business days and will notify you via your COCC email once a clear background check is received.4 Submit your Budget Worksheet to the Housing and Residence Life Office
Once your Application Fee is processed, a link to the Budget Worksheet will be sent via your COCC email. Your worksheet will be processed within 10 business days of receipt. Click here to complete a sample version of the Budget Worksheet.5 Pay a $1,000 Down Payment (which is applied to your first term's housing fees) and a $200 Security Deposit
Once your Background Check and Budget Worksheet are approved, these charges will become available for payment on your Bobcat Web Account. Be aware that partial payments are allowed, however the application is not considered complete until these charges are paid in full.
