COCC hosts several popular running race events each year that draw participants from surrounding areas to campus, and have had a strong tradition in the Bend community for over 25 years. They can be competitive or recreational, depending on your interest level.
Turkey Trot & Toddler Trot - 10:00am November 9, 2024 at COCC Mazama Gym on Bend Campus
9:30am Registration. 10:00am Toddler Trot. 10:30am 5K.
The 3rd Annual Toddler Trot is FREE and will involve two races: 3 years old and younger, and 5 years old and
younger. Register day-of on-site.
The 25th Annual Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk occurs around COCC's Bend Campus along the sidewalks, and includes a free T-shirt, lunch & prizes.
FREE FOR ALL COCC STUDENTS. Cost for community members is $15 (plus online processing fees), or $20 cash or check in person during race day registration. We encourage participants to register online in advance.
All proceeds go to the COCC Foundation for student scholarships and fiscal support for college programs.
Jungle Run - 5:30pm May 9, 2024 at COCC Mazama Gym on Bend Campus
The 28th Annual COCC Jungle Run/Walk offers participants either a 4-mile trail run/walk or a 2-mile trail run, and
includes a free T-shirt, prizes and dinner provided. The race course is fun, challenging, and includes single track trails, mud bogs,
several steep ascents and descents, and other obstacles. Keep your eye out for fake
snakes along the course and win a prize if you pick one up - don't pick up any real
snakes. There will be food and a prize drawing following the race, as we love giving
prizes!

Storm the Stairs - 5:30pm May 16, 2024 at COCC Mazama Gym on Bend Campus
The 28th Annual COCC Storm the Stairs run is a 2-mile 465-stair run that takes participants all over COCC's hillside campus
in Bend, including through buildings. The event is both fun and challenging for all
skill levels, and a great way to enjoy COCC's amazing campus views. The race includes
a free T-shirt, prizes and dinner provided!

Beat Beethoven 5k - This race is suspended until further notice.
COCC Sports helps to set-up for the Central Oregon Symphony Orchestra's Beat Beethoven
5k Fun Run/Walk, starting at 10:00am on the COCC track. The 1 Mile run/walk race will start a few minutes after the 5k has begun.
