Ken Brown

Federal Public Defender legal assistant and COCC graduate

"After obtaining my associate degree at COCC, I transferred to OSU Corvallis where I completed my bachelor's degree in political science. I now work as a legal assistant for the Federal Public Defender's office in Pittsburgh, with hopes of attending law school next year. I found Dr. Bouknight's classes to be some of the most meaningful ones of my entire time in college. I greatly appreciated the unique and diverse quality of the content…an immense variety of materials and methods, forcing exposure to myriad topics, whether it was reading a play out loud for an intercultural communications course or learning about logical fallacies in media communication." — Ken Brown, Federal Public Defender legal assistant and COCC graduate

Taylor Forsberg

Intelligence analyst and COCC graduate

"Intercultural Communications was a specific class in Communication at COCC that proved extra-meaningful to me when it comes to the lessons learned and overall class experience. What impressed me the most was my instructor's energy that he brought to class every day. He was always excited for the day's lesson and that, in turn, made the students excited to learn and participate." — Taylor Forsberg, intelligence analyst and COCC graduate
