What is College Now?
Central Oregon Community College partners with local high schools to offer the option
of earning college credit right in the high school classroom. High school instructors
that are approved to teach for College Now classes provide the same rigor and course
outcomes as an on-campus college class. Successful completion of a College Now course
will result in COCC credit which are transferable to many community college, colleges
and universities. College Now is a great way to jump start your high schooler's college
education, build confidence and save time and money.
What does College Now cost?
College Now courses are $25 per credit. Most courses are 4 credits. There are no other
fees or books to purchase.
How does my high schooler become a College Now student?
Have your high schooler speak with their counselor about College Now and their schedule.
Registering for a College Now course happens after the high school class has started
and is facilitated by their high school teacher.
