ELL Program Outcomes

The English Language Learning program is designed for adults who need to learn to speak, listen, read, and write in English in order to more effectively function in their roles as family members, workers, community members, and lifelong learners.

Given their individual roles, learners will

  1. Speak so family, co-workers, and other community members will understand.
  2. Listen actively and comprehend information as a family member, worker, and community member.
  3. Read with understanding in order to function in their daily lives as a family member, student, worker, and community member.
  4. Write to communicate effectively to family, co-workers, and other community members.
  5. Participate as an informed and engaged member of a community.
