Adult Basic Education/Adult Secondary Education Program Outcomes

The Adult Basic Education/Adult Secondary Education Program is designed for adults who need to improve basic skills in reading, writing, and math in order to more effectively participate in their roles as family members, workers, community members, and lifelong learners.

In their roles, learners will

  1. Read with understanding.
  2. Think critically and effectively in order to problem solve for a variety of purposes and tasks.
  3. Communicate effectively orally and in writing for a variety of purposes and tasks.
  4. Utilize technology to learn and communicate in vocational and personal settings.
