Starting in academic year 2019-20, some CIS core (foundational) courses will be offered less often. Students looking for these classes could consider the following substitutions:

After taking a substitute course and earning a C or higher, contact the CIS department chair (Ken Swartwout / kswartwout@cocc.edu) about submitting a substitution request to the admissions and records office.

Discontinued Program - Desktop Support (AAS Option)

Starting in academic year 2019-20, the Desktop Support AAS Option will no longer be offered. Students seeking this degree option are required to take 27 credits of courses from the electives below, in addition to the core and other required courses. Students looking for specific classes in the Desktop Support option will notice that most electives are still available. However, if a specific course is not available, students should consider the following substitutions:
