COVID-19 Information for Our Community
In order to prioritize the health and safety of our students and employees, COCC is closed to the general public for both the Summer and Fall terms.
Through the end of the 2020 Summer term, classes will be offered remotely or online, with the exception of some Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs including automotive, aviation flight labs, first aid/CPR, nursing assistant, and manufacturing. COCC is open to serve students in the Summer term, but facilities—with the exception of some computer labs—are closed.
For the 2020 Fall term, COCC plans to partially reopen, but campuses will only be open for students, employees, and visitors with official college business. COCC plans to offer some in-person instruction at all campuses, along with online, remote, and hybrid options for students. The College is prepared to move to fully remote or online instruction if directed to do so by the state.
While visitors with official college business (deliveries, maintenance, vendors, etc.) are allowed on the Bend, Redmond, Madras, and Prineville campuses this Fall, the College asks that the public please stay off College campuses to help minimize the spread of the coronavirus and ensure that COCC can safely reopen.
If you have questions about COCC's reopening plans, please contact email@example.com. Stay healthy, Central Oregon!
COCC is closed to the general public, and so we ask that those who are not current
COCC students or employees refrain from using the Bend campus track and running trails.

No, both Elevation Restaurant at the Cascade Culinary Institute and CCI's "Shirley
Ray" food truck are closed for the Summer and Fall terms.
One of COCC's Principles of Community is to Promote a Healthy and Safe Learning Environment. As part of our reopening plans, COCC campuses require face coverings in all indoor spaces, as well as outdoor spaces where 6 feet of physical distancing cannot be easily maintained. Accommodations to the face coverings requirement are available per Oregon Health Authority (OHA) guidance.
