eLearning & Academic Technology
eLearning encompasses teaching and learning activities that utilize
electronic technologies, especially the internet. Most eLearning makes
use of the Learning Management System (LMS) for the posting of content
and communication. COCC’s LMS is Blackboard.
online learning, hybrid learning, and use of electronic technologies to
supplement face-to-face learning. In addition to eLearning, the
department is also responsible for the supporting faculty use of
academic technologies in the classroom.
Community College is committed to providing timely support to all
faculty by offering a variety of options for academic technology
training and hands-on assistance - exposing faculty to existing and
emerging academic technologies.
