Unpacking Charlottesville: The History and Perpetuation of Hate

Join COCC scholars Tom Barry, Jessica Hammerman, and Murray Godfrey as they help us understand the context for the recent events in Charlottesville, Virginia. What has been the history of hate groups in the U.S.? What roles do social media and politics play in the perpetuation of racism and anti-Semitism? Where do ideas of anti-Semitism come from? What can we all do to foster a safe and respectful environment at COCC? Come explore these questions and raise a few of your own. Free and open to the public.
