Art Student Exhibition

The COCC Visual Arts Department is proud to present the annual Student Art Exhibition, on display from May 23 through June 17, with the opening reception from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at the Pinckney Center for the Arts. Awards will be presented at 6 p.m. This event is open to the public and refreshments will be provided.

The exhibition provides COCC students the opportunity to experience the submission and jury process, and present their artwork in a professional art gallery while receiving recognition for their accomplishments over the last year.

All Visual Arts courses will be represented, including drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, metalwork, photography, graphic design, digital painting and vector art. Sixty-five art students were selected with over 120 pieces of art on display between the Pinckney Gallery in Pence Hall and the rotunda gallery in the Barber Library. Many of the pieces are for sale and 100% of sales go directly to the student.
