Guide for Students with Disabilities

To make an appointment, please first read each of the sections in this Guide for Students with Disabilities.  This contains information on items such what information you need have prepared ahead of time, what to expect in your appointment, documentation guidelines required to be met in order to qualify for services, and other COCC information and resources. This guide combines materials from many sources, particularly Blue Mountain Community College and the State of Oregon Post-secondary Transitions Project. It is intended to assist students with disabilities in obtaining equal access to the best learning environment possible while at COCC. It provides answers to anticipated questions about services and other resources designed to accommodate students with disabilities. Note: we recommend you read this entire document.

After reviewing these sections, contact the office of Services for Students with Disabilities, located on the ground floor of Boyle Education Center (BEC), by calling 541-383-7583, or email Nancy Blair-Madison, our Office Assistant, at nmadison@cocc.edu to schedule an appointment.
