Bill Cravis’ mixed-media sculptures and installations emphasize public interaction.

Cravis earned a B.F.A. degree in Ceramics from California College of the Arts (2002) and an M.F.A. degree from Carnegie Mellon University (2006). He has held full-time teaching positions at Ohio University, Athens and St Cloud State University, Minnesota. His distinctions include a full fellowship to Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2004); a Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant (2006) and a funded McKnight artist residency at Northern Clay Center, MN.  He joined the COCC faculty in 2012.


Pence Gallery hours for this event are 11:00-6:00 Monday – Friday and the last Saturday of the month noon to 5:00.
