Pacific Rhododendron occurs in the coastal mountains from British Columbia to central California. It is commonly associated with coastal redwood forests, Douglas fir and yellow pine. The attractive white to pink flowers are bourne in clusters at the tip of the branches. Notice the petals of the flowers are fused into a trumpet shape with 5 lobes.
