Registration Requirements
You must complete requirements for placement, advising, and clearing holds (library, parking tickets, etc) on your account prior to registration. Be sure to complete all of the steps based on your registration grouping below to ensure you can register on time.

When can you register for credit classes? 
The registration schedule for credit students is based on enrollment status and number of credits earned at COCC.

If you are: You register during:
Degree seeking student who has taken a credit class at COCC in the past year Priority Registration
New student, transfer student or student returning after a 1 year absence New student advising dates on Getting Started at COCC
Non-degree seeking student Non-Degree Seeking Registration


Register Online
Most students register online using their Bobcat Web Account. Web Registration Instructions will walk you through the registration steps.

Enrollment Services is available in all COCC campuses to assist with registration:

Planning to register for an online course?

Successful completion of the Orientation for Online Classes at COCC mini-course is required before students can register for online classes. If you are planning to take an ONLINE course, make sure you allow time to sign-up for the orientation, and complete the course before you register.

Looking for Continuing Education Classes, Personal Enrichment or Adult Basic Skills?

Our Continuing Education Classes classes are "non-credit" and have a different registration process. Visit the Continuing Education web page for more information. Adult Basic Skills, which includes English Language Learner and GED preparation classes are also "non-credit" and information for these classes is available on the Adult Basic Skills page
