Students considering Health Careers may also be interested in COCC's Health Information Technology (HIT) or Paramedicine programs. The HIT program prepares students for local or national employment opportunities in the medical field, information management and computer technology. The Paramedicine and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program offers several options including preparation for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced EMT and Paramedic certification.

Come join us to learn more about COCC's Allied Health Programs, which include Dental Assisting, Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician and Veterinary Technician.
At the session we will:
- Describe each occupation. Topics will include typical clinical and administrative duties, certification, licensing, etc.
- Review the structure, length and cost of the programs.
- General Information
It is not necessary to be enrolled at COCC to attend this session. Reservations are not needed. The sessions last approximately one hour. Visitor parking is available in the Barber Library parking lot located adjacent to the Health Careers Center.
