Provide Official College Transcripts

Official transcripts must be requested separately from each transfer institution that you attended.
There are several ways to have your transcripts delivered:

  • Electronic Delivery: This is the fastest delivery method. Check with your transfer college for more information. If your institution requires an email address for delivery, use
  • By Mail: Have your transcripts sent directly to:
    • Central Oregon Community College
      Admissions & Records
      2600 NW College Way
      Bend, Oregon 97703
  • Hand-delivery: If you have sealed official transcripts, you may hand-deliver them to Admissions & Records. Transcripts must be unopened.

How long does it typically take for transcripts to arrive?
Check with your institution, but know that delivery can take up to several weeks. We will send a notification to your COCC email when we have received your transcripts.

What if I cant get my official transcripts, but I have unofficial transcripts?
We use unofficial transcripts in a very limited way. They are used for placement information (so that you don't have to take the placement test), but they are not evaluated for transfer credit. This means they can not be used to meet degree requirements, course or program prerequisites, or for advising.

Unofficial transcripts for placement evaluation may be faxed, mailed, hand-delivered, or emailed (.pdf attachment only).

What if I don't provide official transcripts?
We will consider you to be a new student, with no previous college experience.
