Redmond Student Commons - Library Services

Library collections and services are available in Redmond Student Commons in RTEC 224. The Commons is open to the public, and community library cards are free.

Library Services Available:

  • Research help: A librarian is on-duty from 1-6 p.m., Monday-Thursday. Or, make an appointment via Book a Librarian.
  • Requests pick-up: Request items from Bend and beyond using the Library catalog. Have them delivered to Redmond.
  • Borrow books: The Redmond collection includes nearly 400 popular non-fiction and fiction books, graphic novels, children's books, and academic books related to your COCC course work!

  • Lending technology: Laptops and hotspots that you can check out for the entire term. (These go fast! Request one early in the term for best results.)
  • Course reserves: Borrow textbooks for your courses. 
  • Newspapers, magazines & journals: Local newspapers, popular magazines, and journals for the Veterinary Technician and ECE programs.
  • Onsite technology: Scanning, plus COCC ITS-supplied computers, wi-fi, and printing (via Bobcat Print).
