Duo Security Enrolling Details

Enrolling From a Smartphone or Tablet

GO TO COCC STUDENT LOGIN PAGE
On your smartphone, go to Student Login, and click on Duo Security.
ENTER YOUR EMAIL & PASSWORD
FOLLOW DUO SECURITY WIZARD
- Select Duo Mobile as the option.
- Verify your cell phone number.
DOWNLOAD DUO MOBILE
- Download the DUO Mobile app from your app store for free.
- Follow Duo Push practice prompts.
YOU ARE ALL SET!
Now login to Bobcat Web Account, Canvas or COCC email to see it in action!

DOWNLOAD DUO MOBILE
On your smartphone, go to your app store and install the "DUO Mobile" app.

*Wait to use the app for step #5.....
FROM YOUR COMPUTER ENROLL IN DUO SECURITY
- Go to Student Login
- Click the Duo Security Icon
- Enter your COCC email and password
DUO SECURITY WIZARD
Follow the prompts and select Duo Mobile [Recommended].
PASSCODE SENT TO CELLPHONE
- Enter your cellphone number,
- Verify that it's correct,
- Send a passcode
- Enter that passcode into the prompt on your computer.
SCAN QR CODE
- In the DUO Mobile app, enable your camera,
- Click Add +
- Scan the QR code on your computer screen.
Now login to Bobcat Web Account, Canvas or COCC email to see it in action!

- From your computer, go to the COCC Student Login page.
- Click the Duo Security icon.
- Enter your COCC email and password.
- Follow Duo security prompts.
- Select "Security Key" from the list.
- Follow security popups.
- Insert the Security Key into the USB port when prompted or if you see a QR code.
- Touch the Security Key when prompted to complete setup.
