Math Level 24

What does placing in Level 24 mean?

Placement into this level assumes you have been successful in a prior calculus course. Please contact a math department faculty member to help determine the proper course placement or email mathplacement@cocc.edu.

Which courses should I take?

The decision about which course depends on your academic goal. To get you started, here are some sample pathways. An academic advisor will help you decide on courses during advising.

I am pursuing a field such as Psychology, Communications or the Arts

Talk with an advisor during your Advising and Registration appointment to determine your math path based on your specific program.

I am pursuing a field such as Science, Chemistry, or Engineering

Your math path may be:

  1. Math 252: Calculus II

I am pursuing a career and technical path in a field such as Medical Assisting, Automotive or Massage
