Computer and Information Systems

Whether you simply want to upgrade your basic computer skills or go for your Computer Information Systems degree, Central Oregon Community College has the program for you.

Other programs related to CIS include CAD, GIS and HIT. Each of these programs offers both an Associate of Applied Science and a 1-year Certificate of Completion.

Course Substitutions for Graduation

Alternative Web Development electives now include:
- CIS 125V Introduction to Visio (offered Online both Fall 2017 and Spring 2018) and
- CS 160 Introduction to Computer Science (offered both face-to-face and online Fall 2017)
If you take either of these classes as an elective towards your Web Development AAS in 2017-18, you will need to petition the school to have it count in GradTracks. Get in touch with the CIS Department Chair, Ralph Phillips, for more information.
