When and where is STRIVE this year?

STRIVE will be held on the Bend COCC campus starting Monday, June 26th- Thursday, June 29th.

Is this an overnight program?

Yes! Students will be staying in Wickiup Residence Hall on the Bend COCC campus for three nights.

Can transportation be provided?

We will have a van on Monday morning that can pick up students from Warm Springs and Madras to take them to Bend. The van will also be available to take students back home on Thursday evening after the closing dinner. If there are any other transportation needs between Redmond, Bend and throughout Central Oregon we will try our best to offer support.

Do I need to be Native American to participate in STRIVE?

No, STRIVE is a program that is open to all High School age students. There will be a large focus on Native American culture and allies are always welcome if they are interested in learning and discussing topics about Native culture.

How much does STRIVE cost?

Nothing! This is a free program that also counts as a college credit!

What is the age range for participants?

This program is for high school students, preferably for Juniors and Seniors.
