Boys With Braids Please join us for a gathering to educate and celebrate the cultural importance of braids for Native boys and men. We will have food, drums, and guest speakers. We encourage Native youth and their families to attend, and also wish to welcome all people, from all backgrounds. This event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Bend Campus, Coats Campus Center, Wille Hall, from 11:00-3:00. This event is free and open to students, staff, and the public.
Get involved with the COCC First Nations Student Union
Come join us for a light lunch as we discuss Native American topics, take part in multicultural activities and student events, as well as plan fun club activities.
We are alternating our meeting times between Tuesday and Wednesday this term due to
a variety of class schedules. Our meetings are held in the Multicultural Center in
the Coats Campus Center. Please contact
Michelle Cary for meeting times. All are welcome!
We have not established a meeting time as of yet, but please feel free to stop by my office for any questions you may have, or just to introduce yourself. I am on the Madras campus every Monday.
