President's Scholarship Celebration

Each year the College and COCC Foundation celebrates the gift of higher education by honoring our scholarship donors and current scholarship recipients at the President's Scholarship Celebration. Scholarship donors and their recipients often meet for the first time and have an opportunity over lunch to get to know each other.

The Central Oregon Community College Foundation is proud to honor the 2024 President’s Scholarship Celebration Award Recipient, Daisy Layman. COCC Foundation scholarships are life-changing to hundreds of students annually. It is an honor to recognize those who’ve significantly supported scholarships over many years.

This year’s honoree, Daisy Layman, has become one of the COCC Foundation’s most dedicated and vocal supporters of its scholarship program. Daisy made her first scholarship gift in 2016 and has funded many scholarships since. Her tireless advocacy for student success and the power of education is apparent in all she does for the Foundation and our community.
