Campus Public Safety is comprised of individuals from various backgrounds in emergency services. This allows us to provide the highest quality of professional and friendly services for our community.

The safety of our students, staff, faculty and visitors is our first priority. To achieve this, we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In 2015, Central Oregon Community College Department of Campus Public Safety won the Department of the Year award from the Western Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (WACLEA).

In 2014, Bend Police Cpl. Troy Wiles (L) and COCC Campus Public Safety Officer Kevin Lanier (R) were honored as recipients of the Bend Fire and Rescue "Lifesaver Award" for their part in providing life-saving resuscitation to Terry Howard (Left middle) after he suffered a cardiac arrest and crashed into a house near the Bend COCC Campus.
