COVID-19 Response and Reopening

Central Oregon Community College is committed to transparency regarding our confirmed positive COVID-19 case numbers. The dashboard below tracks daily reported and confirmed positive cases among COCC faculty, staff, and students who tested positive for COVID-19 and were on a COCC campus during the 14 days prior to their positive test result*. To protect individuals' privacy and to comply with health privacy laws, no additional information will be provided about the identities of those employees or students who have tested positive, except to the local public health authorities to assist with contact tracing.

COCC is not conducting COVID-19 testing on our campuses; however, we encourage employees and students to report their confirmed positive COVID-19 test to the College. As such, these case numbers represent the most current and complete data COCC has available, but may omit confirmed cases not reported to the College. For county-wide data, visit OHA's COVID-19 Testing and Outcomes by County data dashboard.

*14 days does not represent the contagious period of COVID-19. Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 should refer to their contagious period as identified by their health provider and public health officials. COCC will notify the local public health authority of any known confirmed cases on the COCC campus. The College, in coordination with the local health authority, manages contact tracing and COCC will reach out directly to students and/or employees if it is believed that an individual has had sustained exposure to the virus.
