  • Acceptable Use Policy

    Library facilities are to further the educational mission of the college. For this reason use of the computers for educational purposes is given precedence over computing pursuits of a more personal or recreational value.

    Cell Phone & Noise Policy

    The Barber Library is committed to providing an environment that is conducive to study as well as welcoming to all users. These guidelines were developed in response to concerns from students about the increased noise in the library due to social conversation and cell phone use.

    Collection Development

    Library Services for Community Patrons

    Barber Library is open to the public. Oregon residents over the age of 16 can get a Library card and use the Library's computers.

    Group Study Rooms

    The Barber Library has 14 group study rooms available to current COCC students, faculty, and staff.

    Service Animals in the Library

    Service animals documented with the office of Services for Students with Disabilities are allowed in the Library. All other animals are prohibited.
