Art instructors show range of creativity at library gallery
“The Art of Teaching,” a broad exhibit of paintings, prints and photographs by Central Oregon Community College’s (COCC) Continuing Education art instructors, is on display at the Bend campus’s Barber Library gallery from June 25-August 24; see cocc.edu/library for gallery hours.
The featured work includes watercolors, acrylic paintings, mixed media and photography by local artists Barbara Berry, Brent Bunch, Jeanne Debons, Karen Ellis, Therese Henderson and Breezy Winters.
“COCC’s Continuing Education is home to many incredible artists who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and skill with the communities served,” said Krissa Harris, program manager of COCC’s Continuing Education department. “Through their work and teaching style, each artist provides a unique perspective and classroom experience.”
This summer’s Continuing Education art offerings at COCC include classes in ceramics, jewelry, “pocket-sketching” and watercolor painting. Visit enrole.com/cocc to learn more.
