Native American Heritage Month: Celebration

COCC is commemorating Native American Heritage Month with a celebration of traditional dancing, singing and drumming with Quartz Creek Dancers and Carlos Calica, to include Miss Warm Springs 2018, Thyrecia Simtustus, from 6-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 20, in Wille Hall at the Bend campus. Organized by the First Nations Student Union (FNSU), this event is free and open to the public. More than four percent of the college’s students are American Indian or Alaska Native.
