Irish Ceili Dance Demo

Wednesday, 3/13/2019 from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Barber Library, Rotunda

Description

Ceili (pronounced “kay-lee”) is the folk dance branch of the Irish dance tree. It’s fun and approachable, the sort of thing you might do on a Friday night in a friend’s barn with some local musicians.

On St. Patrick's Day, come see the Frolicking Meese and their friends demonstrate a couple of dances in the rotunda, and then learn a dance yourself!
