Where do I go to access my student evaluations?

To access the student evaluation system, log in to Canvas and either follow the 'Go to Survey' link on the popup, or click Account and click EvaluationKIT User, or navigate into your course and click the EvaluationKIT Courses link from the course navigation menu. Students may also follow any of the links to the evaluations received in announcement messages generated and sent by the evaluation system.

When can I evaluate my classes?

Evaluations open roughly 14 days before the end of your course. You will have until 11:59PM on the Friday before finals week to submit your evaluations.

What can I do if I missed the student evaluation deadline?

Evaluations cannot be completed after the deadline. It is not possible for students to complete evaluations late.


I keep getting reminders to complete my evaluations. How can I get them to stop?

Email will stop being triggered when evaluations are completed, OR if the respondent has chosen to opt out. To opt out, open the survey link and click the Opt-Out button in the upper right.


Can I modify an evaluation that I have already submitted?

If you need to reset your evaluation, please send an email to with your name and details of the course you need to reset and the administrator will reset your evaluation for you up until the evaluation period ends.

What if I have more than one instructor for a course?

You will see the questions for each instructor in the evaluation for that course. Each question will the have name of the instructor you are evaluating at the top.
