Repeatable for Credit
Students may repeat any course an unlimited number of times but unless the course is identified as "repeatable for credit", the credit counts only once.
- COCC credit courses are defaulted to "non-repeatable for credit". Non-repeatable courses are listed on the transcript with the credits and grade, but the repeat grade policy applies and impacts the GPA; GradTracks will only apply the credit once.
- Repeatable courses are historically performance-based courses such as studio art, music performance, and HHP activity as well as special type courses (x80, x88, x98, and x99). Repeat limits are set at 99. The repeat grade policy does not apply.
