Phishing Alert

Bobcats -

Recently a phishing campaign has been launched against our College.  This uses a common 'work from home' job scam methodology.  Under the guise of easily earned money, often while working from home, they'll try and entice you out of name, address, and eventually your direct deposit banking information.

If you received this phishing email, please forward to abuse@cocc.edu.  Additionally, if you gave the cyber-criminals any confidential information, include that in the forwarded email.  Our Information Security administrator can follow up with you on a course of action and answer any questions that you may have.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  COCC works diligently to protect the confidential information of our students and staff, yet cyber-criminals work just as tirelessly against us.
