Student Account Registration ( downloadable illustrated instructions)

Go to COCCStudentJobs

  • Click on the REGISTER button
  • Complete the STUDENT REGISTRATION form and SUBMIT
  • Once the STUDENT REGISTRATION form is submitted, an email message will be sent to the student's email address.
    • Click on the link in the email message to verify the email address and confirm the student account registration with COCCStudentJobs

Logging-In to Student Account ( downloadable illustrated instructions)

Once you are registered with COCCStudentJobs and have received your username and password, you can now log-in to the system and begin searching for job opportunities.

  • Go to COCCStudentJobs
  • Enter USERNAME and PASSWORD in the spaces provided, then click on the GO button
  • Click on the "Jobs" link, then choose " COCC student jobs" to see postings.

Changing Student Account Password ( downloadable illustrated instructions)

  • Log in to your account
  • At the top of the page, click on the PROFILE tab
  • From the PROFILE page click on the PASSWORD/PREFERENCES tab
  • Enter OLD PASSWORD and NEW PASSWORD in the spaces provided and click on the SAVE button

Searching for Jobs ( downloadable illustrated instructions)

  • Log in to your account
  • At the top of the page, click on the JOBS tab
  • Click on COCCStudentJobs
  • Welcome to the JOB POSTINGS Homepage! You can view all job listings or choose from the following criteria to narrow your search:
    • Position Type
    • Job Function
    • Industry
    • Keywords

Creating a Job Search Agent ( downloadable illustrated instructions)

  • From the COCCStudentJobs Homepage click on the JOBS tab
  • When the JOBS tab is selected, five options for searching jobs become available.
  • Click on COCCStudentJobs
  • From the JOB POSTINGS Homepage click on the ADVANCED SEARCH tab
  • From the ADVANCED SEARCH page, create a new SEARCH AGENT by selecting the SAVE AS box and creating a name for the SEARCH AGENT
  • Finally, enter or select the ADVANCED SEARCH OPTIONS assigned to the new SEARCH AGENT and click on SUBMIT (at the bottom of the page)
  • Once the new SEARCH AGENT is created, it is available for future use under the SEARCH AGENTS tab

Receiving Job Search Agent Results by Email ( downloadable illustrated instructions)

    • From the JOB POSTINGS Homepage click on the SEARCH AGENTS tab
    • For the SEARCH AGENT to receive emails from, click on the SCHEDULE button
    • Next to ENABLED, click on YES
    • Set the criteria for the SEARCH AGENT email:
      • Next to PERIOD, select DAY, WEEK, or MONTH
      • Next to MULTIPLE, set how often to receive the email based on what was selected for the PERIOD
      • FOR EXAMPLE:
        • If DAY is selected in PERIOD and 1 is set in MULTIPLE, then an email will be sent 1 time each day
        • If MONTH is selected in PERIOD and 3 is set in MULTIPLE, than an email will be sent 3 times each month
      • Next to INCLUDE ONLY NEW RESULTS, select YES or NO
        • Selecting YES will only include new results for the SEARCH AGENT posted since the last email
        • Selecting NO will include all results for the SEARCH AGENT
    • Click on the SUBMIT button
