COMING UP IN OCTOBER:
WRITER TO SPEAK ON THE FUTURE OF FRESH WATER
Join environmental writer Emma Marris for an engaging talk on the global and local challenges faced when it comes to sharing that most precious of commodities: fresh water. The presentation is at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Wille Hall in the Coats Campus Center. Students can get a free ticket at the Coats info desk with ID. Marris is a National Geographic Media Innovation Fellow. This presentation complements the exhibit, "Water Tables," on display at the Bend Art Center and in COCC's Barber Library, featuring works by Pat Clark, Oct. 5-Nov. 25; reception on Oct. 10 at 5:15 p.m.
