MESSAGE FROM COCC'S STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT
As the weather warms and people grow antsy, here's an important video message from ASCOCC's Student President Julia Russell.
COMMENCEMENT COCC's Commencement is a celebration of your achievements and an important day for
the entire College community. Unfortunately, due to ongoing concerns about large gatherings,
we have made the difficult decision to cancel our traditional Commencement ceremony
this June. We know how hard you have worked to get here, and wish we had better news.
We do want you to know we plan to acknowledge your accomplishments. No matter what
we ultimately decide about a celebration, we will be sending your diploma to you,
once you have completed all the requirements, along with a program commemorating your
achievement. We will be providing more information as soon as possible.
COVID-19 STUDENT IMPACT SURVEY Students in Oregon and across the nation are taking part in a survey to share their
life experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and help shape the future of their college.
Please lend your voice to this important conversation by participating! If you are
currently enrolled for Spring term, look for a survey invitation in your student email
account. The survey is run by the Center for Community College Student Engagement at The University of Texas at Austin and will remain open through Friday, May 15.
