COCC Community Learning is offering a variety of culinary options including cooking, baking, wine, beer and spirits classes. In addition to offering classes at the Cascade Culinary Institute at COCC, our instructors are taking the show on the road and offering unique opportunities in Prineville.

NEW! Planting Bulbs for a Colorful Spring Garden
Now is the time to plant bulbs for beautiful blooms next spring. This course will teach you how to choose the right bulbs and how to plant them for amazing spring color in your garden. Students will discover the wide range of bulbs that thrive in Central Oregon and cover topics such as naturalizing, planting bulbs in pots, which bulbs to use for specific situations, and how to care for them during and after blooming. Class will also cover forcing bulbs for indoor winter beauty. This hands-on workshop will go beyond the basics of bulbs and inspire students with design tips for mixing them with other spring plantings in the garden. Class held at Celebrate the Season, 61420 Brosterhous Road. Bulbs, pots, soil mix, and gardening books will be available at an additional charge if interested.
