NEW! Second Seasoning Gardening

Late to the garden party? No matter! Many vegetables can be planted in mid-summer for fall and even winter harvest. Cool weather means more vibrant colors, an increase in plant sugars, and fewer bugs. Whether you have a fancy greenhouse, or just a few square feet of empty garden space, there are hardy vegetables that can be planted right now, for a harvest this year. Join a veteran Bend gardener in learning what to plant with or without frost protection. We’ll also look at season extension and overwintering.
