Workzone Flagger
Learn the basics of flagging and traffic safety to earn your Oregon Department of Transportation Credential for flaggers by successfully completing this course (valid for three years in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana). Participants must pass an open-book test at the end of class.

Forklift Operation & Safety
Learn how to safely operate a forklift. This course includes classroom instruction and hands-on experience maneuvering a forklift in practice drills. Upon satisfactory completion, forklift operator certification cards will be mailed. Participants must be 18 years or older; please bring proof of age (driver’s license or state ID card). This training can also be delivered at your business and customized to meet your needs.

Drip Irrigation Basics
Are you interested in learning more about drip and low-volume irrigation?  Start with the basics of how a typical irrigation system works and learn the fundamental steps to convert a small area of a traditional sprinkler system into a drip zone.  Discover the differences between the many choices in low-volume emission devices, and the benefits of using each in different applications.  Topics covered include how to reduce pressures, filtration for drip zones, sizing emitters, programming run times, and how to trouble-shoot common issues. Whether you are a homeowner considering your own small drip retrofit project or landscape professional, you’ll expand your knowledge on drip irrigation and retrofitting systems. Approved for four hours of continuing education for Landscape Contractors through the Oregon LCB.

Irrigation Basics
Learn to design, construct, repair and troubleshoot residential irrigation systems. This class covers basic hydraulic theory, how to obtain site information, determine irrigation requirements and water supply, select sprinklers and spacing ranges, and calculate pressure requirements. If you are working on an irrigation project, bring your plans and information to use in class discussion. Approved for 8 hours of continuing education for landscape contractors through the Oregon LCB.

Our courses are designed to prepare candidates for the Oregon Department of Agriculture commercial pesticide certification exams. Recertification credits are also available for licensed applicators or consultants.  

Contractors CCB Test Prep Website 
Meet the CCB education requirement in just two days with one of our live classes. We also offer an online class for your convenience. Both the live and online courses are approved by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) and satisfy the educational requirement to become a licensed contractor in Oregon. The Oregon CCB will be notified when you complete the course and are eligible to take the state-mandated test.
