Business Students Discussing IdeasCOCC offers the following Entrepreneurial pathways:

Business Administration Department:

  • Entrepreneurship Certificate
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Business Administration Small Business/Entrepreneurship Specialization Degree

  • Associated of Science Oregon Transfer (ASOT) Business emphasis Degree 
    (The ASOT will transfer toward a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business or finance)
  • Beginning Fall 2016, CEED Associate of Applied Science Entrepreneurial Management Degree is no longer accepting new students. (CEED AAS Entre Mgmt and AAS BA Small Business/Entre Specialization are two different COCC awards.) Students who are currently enrolled in the CEED AAS Entre Mgmt program can complete their programs within COCC’s catalog year policy. Students should contact their academic advisor for additional information. AAS Entrepreneurial Management program completion criteria for 2015-16 under catalog admission policies graduation requirements will include these potential available course(s) substitutions: BA 237, BA 253, & BA 254 substituted for CEED 201-206 cohort group of 12 credits;  BA 237, BA 271, & BA 272 substituted for CEED 221-226 cohort group of 12 credits. Program completion may include consideration of other approved department chair course substitutions.

The  Entrepreneurship Certificate is wholly contained within the AAS Business Administration Small Business/Entrepreneurship specialization Degree and is intended for those with or without a specific business idea or whom are not ready to start a business but expect to in the future or work for a small business company.
