Yellowstone

Delaney and I went on a week road trip to Yellowstone in June, 2001, just before I left for Guam.  We saw the popular sights but tried mainly to stay away from all the tourists.  As far as National Parks go, Yellowstone is one of the best.  The volcanic action in the area is so incredibly active.  It's powerful and angry and we really felt in touch with nature there.

Delaney walking in the Twilight Zone. Very eerie. The red is boiling algae.

Classic view of Yellowstone Falls. .

Old Faithful didn't let us down.

Deep, boiling pits of water and mud with Yellowstone Lake behind. .

Delaney and Yellowstone Lake on a very calm afternoon.

Strange things from the Earth.

Delaney admiring the peaks of the Grand Tetons.
