Dr. Titus will approach the question, "How did we get here?" from the unique perspective of an evolutionary biologist, conservationist, and fourth generation Oregonian who returned home to reestablish a very personal connection to his people and the land. He will discuss this personal evolution with respect to multiple levels of human history, from our deepest evolutionary roots to modern cultural influences that shape the way in which we relate to our place in the world.
