Welcome to my Web site!

"Writing is hardly a mysterious activity, yet it is sometimes viewed as if it were. Many people, for instance, seem to think that those who write well possess a magical power or talent."

"People write for a variety of reasons. Many people write because they are required to. Term papers, business letters, reports, proposals, articles in
magazines--most are written by a person, or a group of persons, who has been asked to take on the responsibility for the project. Sometimes this writing simply reports the results of analysis or observations. But often writing functions in more complex ways, providing the means by which individuals solve problems, make difficult decisions, and come to understand complex situations" (Lisa Ede).
