Rates, Fees, and Billing

Room and Board Rates: 2014-2015

Room and Board fees are set by the COCC Board of Directors each spring quarter for the upcoming academic year. Below are the anticipated 2014-2015 room and board fees, based on final COCC Board approval:

* an additional $300.00 are charged to residents starting in spring term

* an additional $250.00 are charged to residents occupying a single room, each term

These rates include housing and meal services for the entire academic year (Sept-June); all basic utilities; Ethernet access at each student desk; wireless network access in the main lounge; and cable TV in each double room.

Cancellation Fees
Before Occupancy

If a student intends to cancel their Housing Agreement prior to move-in day, they must do so by August 1 for fall term applicants, December 1 for winter term applicants, and March 1 for spring term applicants, or their $250 housing deposit will be subject to forfeit. Students can cancel their Housing Agreement by emailing the Housing and Residence Life Office at reslife@cocc.edu, or by call the office at 541-383-7588.

After Occupancy (before the end of the first two weeks)

If a student intends to cancel their Housing Agreement after move-in day for an academic term but before the end of the first two weeks of any academic term, the student will be billed a prorated amount of the room and board fees for every day the student lived in the residence hall. If this occurs after the students first term, then an additional agreement cancellation fee of $750.00 will be charged.

After Occupancy (after the end of the first two weeks)

If a student intends to cancel their Housing Agreement after the end of the first two weeks of any academic term the student will be billed for the entirety of the current term's room fees and a prorated amount of the board fees up to the move out date. Additionally, an agreement cancellation fee of $750.00 will be charged.

Billing

Billing for room and board will be made to the student's COCC billing account at the beginning of each term. Please note that billing for room and board is prorated in the following manner:

Fall Term       40% of annual total
Winter Term      35% of annual total
Spring Term      25% of annual total
