Scholar in Residence Program

The Library offered the use of an office in the Library without charge to a Scholar in Residence. In return, the scholar offered a mix of services to benefit the instructional programs on campus and add to the life and culture of the campus. Usually the SIR organized a number of public readings each year. Some of the Scholars offered workshops and a chance to bring in poetry or prose in progress to work one-on-one with the SIR.
