Course Evaluations FAQs for Students
How do I find the course evaluation system?
To access the course evaluation system, log in Bobcat Web as usual, then click on the “Course Evaluation” link at the bottom of the page. A new browser window will open with the course evaluation system.
When is the course evaluation session open?
Evaluations open at noon on Monday, 3/4 of the way through the course duration and close at noon 14 days later. This gives students two weekends and two full weeks to complete their evaluations.
What can I do if I missed the course evaluation deadline?
Evaluations cannot be completed after the deadline. It is not possible for students to complete evaluations late. I keep getting reminders to complete my evaluations. How can I get them to stop?
Reminders are programmed into the course evaluation system and will stop once you submit (or opt out of) your evaluations.
Not all of my courses are appearing on my list. Why not?
Courses are evaluated 3/4 of the way through the duration of the course. For example, some courses last one day, some last a few weeks, and some last all term. When the course is 3/4 of the way through its duration, it will appear in the course evaluation system for you to complete.
Can I get to my course evaluations through Blackboard?
Not yet. We hope to have this capability, eventually.
Can I modify an evaluation that I have already submitted?
No. Once you submit your evaluation, you cannot go back and make changes or additions.
What if I have more than one instructor for a course?
In most cases, you will be asked to evaluate each instructor of the course.
