Getting Started

• Browser Check for Blackboard  
• How to login to Blackboard
• Username and password help:
  • Your Username in Blackboard is your COCC ID Number
  • Your default Password in Blackboard is the one that starts with the first initials of your first and last names in capital letters.
  • Reset your Blackboard Password by going to: https://bb.cocc.edu/webapps/blackboard/password

Access Content

• Not all instructors use Blackboard, so you may not see all of your courses listed within the system.
• Courses for the current term become visible to students on the first day of the term, at 1:01AM, Pacific Standard Time.
• Past term courses are visible until two-weeks after the last day of the term.
