The nature and origins of rocks and minerals, and the processes responsible for earth's structures and landforms, plus a history of the planet are all topics included in the study of geology. Supplemental biology, chemistry, and mathematics courses are available. COCC coursework includes Geology; Basic Geology; Rocks and Minerals; Oceanography; and
Regional Geology of Central Oregon, Cascade Volcanoes, Grand Canyon, Oregon Coast, Southeastern Oregon.
