Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
SEOG awards are federally funded. COCC is responsible for selecting eligible students and determining the amount of the award. The SEOG is for undergraduates with exceptional financial need and gives priority to students who receive Pell Grants. SEOG awards at COCC are $600 per student and are not pro-rated. Not everyone who qualifies will receive this grant due to limited federal funding. This is why it is important to apply early for financial aid. Students with a prior bachelor’s degree are not eligible. The SEOG is not available for summer term.
