Take the first step to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer! Learn about the Certified Personal Trainer Exam Prep class that will get you ready to take one of the nationally recognized exams. Meet the instructor for the course, Katie Mital, who is a full time Personal Trainer and teacher. Learn more about the 50-hour class which will start you on your path to success as a fitness professional.

Certified Personal Trainer Certification Preparation Course
Become a fitness professional and prepare for personal fitness training certification. Topics include biomechanics, exercise physiology, fitness testing, equipment usage, health assessment and basic business topics related to personal training. Learn how to assess flexibility and endurance, cardio-respiratory health, body composition and muscle strength. Understand the benefits and risks of physical activity and how to accomplish health screening and risk stratification. Students will practice hands-on training with proper and safe execution of resistance, cardio-respiratory and flexibility exercises. The basics of sound nutritional principles will be covered along with anatomy and kinesiology. Cost of class does not include text book or the exam.
