Grow Herbs for a Kitchen Garden
In today's low-salt, low-carb, low-fat world, which can often be low-taste, fresh and dried herbs offer a nutritious and delicious extra dimension to the meals we prepare and eat every day. Most herbs are surprisingly easy to grow here in Central Oregon and are unfazed by the dry sandy soil, intense sunlight and short growing season. Focus will be on cultivation, harvest, storage and use in the kitchen.
